This past Sunday I had the opportunity to just have some fun…well fo rmany that might be the understatement of the century. Tough Mudder is anything but a walk in the park and easy (if you follow the course and do everything you are supposed to do that is).

The IsaWarrior Team
Fun for me in that I was not participating but following the IsaWarrior team taking on the obstacles in what can only be described as lousy weather. The temperature was a balmy 2 degrees C with rain, snow, sleet and lots of wind and some sun to brighten up moments of seeming despair! They were a welcome reprieve just before the driving snow made sure we didn’t get too comfortable and had a chance to warm up (even slightly).

Snow, sleet, wind and cold…
Mud was the name of the game today! Like lots of mud… For more photos of the mud, the team and the obstacles click here
The stamina and perseverance shown by all the IsaWarriors was awesome. Most obstacles had water to negotiate which made for a very chilly day and the risk of hyperthermia. It is amazing to see just how the IsaWarriors made it through, fuelled by Isagenix, when many didn’t finish this gruelling charity challenge.

Imagine for a moment a dumpster filled with water and ice (and food colouring…) and you need to not only get in but dive under a submerged wall to come out the other side. Even the bravest and toughest men shrieked like the girls…! The Arctic Enema…See for yourself…

A little water, mud and some electrical current make for some very interesting obstacles…the Electric Eel
At the end of the day all the IsaWarriors had fun and rose to the challenge, despite blood and complaining ITB’s and goose bumps!

But in the end team work made the day and all IsaWarriors made it to the finish line, more or less in one piece!
